This blog will share what I learn through my work as a freelance programmer specializing in web scraping with Python.
My primary motivation for this blog is to give back to the community that has provided so much - my business would not be possible without free open source technologies like Linux, Python, web2py, lxml, and Firefox.
Another (less noble) motivation is to give me credibility in this field. If you search for web scraping services on Google you won't find my website in the top 10 - I am a minor player. When a potential client does somehow stumble across me I want them to see, through this blog, that I am experienced. I am not the cheapest because I am not the worst!
